A Wordpress blog operated by an authority figure in the biohacking / nootropics space. I managed the hosting and provided tech support for years, from inception until 2024 it was running on the Genesis framework.
When it got dedicated SEO resource it quickly became clear the time it would take to extend Genesis and make the required changes would outway the time/cost of building a new theme that already incorporated all SEO recommendations.

Tech Highlights :
There are loads of nice little touches that I am proud of but the Mega Menu system is particularly worthy of note. The sitemap is large and this was a good way to improve internal linking. It is all driven through Advanced Custom fields in conjunction with the native Wordpress menu system.
This was way more flexible and usable than the ugly old jQuery based mega menu plugins you find for sale.
There was no design as such, I just built it with a clean and simple look to keep the focus on the voluminous and high quality written content.
