The mighty Testosterone Resource, harking back to the golden age of affiliate marketing. When, with a smattering of SEO and CRO knowledge and a handful of affiliate accounts, you could rank with glorious ease and the $$$ came soon after.

The (in)famous Google 'Medic' update of 2018 clobbered many affiliates in this space but this particular site soldiered on and survived numerous subsequent brutal core updates targeting affiliates. It eventually died a financial death in 2022.

What a ride it had though. It ranked globally for some massive testosterone related terms, got a lot of traffic and generated a lot of sales.

The content was amazing, mainly due to Andy Dowling, the principle writer. He is really funny, the articles were class. We took a bone dry, medical subject matter and made the content funny and readable. Google and users loved it.
